Operation
The operation is carried out by three consortium partners: ŽIPO Lenart d.o.o., Interkorn d.o.o. and Trac d.o.o.
It includes the development activities of selected researchers and technical assistants who will operate in the following four fields during the 7th February 2018 to 6th February 2020:
1.Development of the technology of processing voluminous fodder (cutting, crushing and straw dusting for safe and healthy digestion of animals)
2.Development of the technology of processing main additive-proteins feed (protecting of soybeans cakes to ensure better exploit and digestibility of proteins)
3.Development of technological equipment and process for the production of products (technology of coating, dosing, mixing and packaging) and the development of information and communication technology-ICT (including digitization) to ensure quality, safety and traceability control.
4.Testing of each component separately and the entire plant (testing of voluminous feed, the main additive and technological equipment, testing of homogenity and nutrient feeding in the laboratory, testing of growth and digestibility in the real environment on animals, testing of long-distance transport on the simulated device … ).
The operation was approved in the framework of the public invitation of Incentives for Research Development Projects 2 by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. It is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund.
Purpose of the operation
Entire development of a complete technological line, which will solve the problems of existing feeding stuffs with the production of the top product EKO LUNCH BOX, improve efficiency and reduce the costs of cattle breeding.
Aims of the operation
Develop a fully automated processing line for the preparation of a homogeneous compound feed for a comprehensive, healthy and quality animal feed. The EKO LUNCH BOX feed mixture will be packaged in ecologically unique biodegradable packaging. Due to the testing on the longer transport simulator, the technology line will be designed in such a way that the homogeneity in production in the long haul will be exactly the same.
Expected results
